The Player POV follows the main protagonist of this story, a child struggling with emotional neglect, abandonment issues, loneliness, and finding difficulty with expressing emotions. He discovers a Rat living in his home one day and gains his only friend; a projection of someone who must choose between unleashing his inner pain on others or showing compassion when facing something weaker.

The Bully POV shows the main physical antagonist of the story, an external force that puts pressure on the main protagonist. He is there to serve as a parallel to the inner turmoil that the protagonist suffers and to reveal more parts of the main character's past.
